COPYRIGHT REGISTRATION
 
The purpose is to protect works of authorship, including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic and scientific works.
 
Any original creation can be protected in order to give to the owner of the copyright the exclusive rights over the presented conception and it is his/her exclusive right to reproduce the copyrighted work, to prepare derivative works, to distribute copies of the copyrighted work, to perform or display the copyrighted work publicly as he/she sees fit.
 
Such rights are assigned to heirs and last for the life of the author plus 70 years.
